Skills & Requirements
Must-have
Provide patient care in Emergency Department
Obtain and record vital signs
Perform EKGs, CPR, phlebotomy
Initiate cardiac monitoring
Fluid/drug administration
Nice-to-have
Fast thinking and processing
Improve patient outcomes
Teamwork and collaboration
Key Requirements
Completion of accredited EMS-Paramedic training program
Current licensure as EMT-Paramedic in Ohio
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification
One year of experience as an EMT-P
Experience in high volume emergency room/hospital setting
