Workday is seeking a Senior Accounting & ESG Reporting Manager, responsible for leading the company's ESG reporting and providing technical accounting guidance. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in accounting, particularly in ESG, and possess excellent communication and collaboration skills within a fast-paced environment

Job Summary

  • Play a key role in the Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) reporting program while providing technical accounting guidance and operational accounting support.
  • Design, implement and continuously improve controls throughout the ESG reporting process and serve as a trusted advisor and liaison between Controllership, Sustainability, Legal, and various other business functions.
  • Support the SEC filing process, including preparation and tie out of 10-Q, 10-K, Proxy Statement, and earnings materials.

Primary Location Base Pay Range: $152,200 USD - $228,400 USD; Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $128,600 USD - $228,400 USD; Bonus/Equity: May be eligible for Workday Bonus Plan or role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance
  • 8+ years of related experience
  • Direct experience with ESG accounting
  • Direct experience in an accounting or auditing role
  • CPA license strongly preferred
