The Volunteer Management Executive is responsible for developing and implementing SANA’s volunteer management strategy, ensuring alignment with the organisation’s mission to support persons recovering from drug addiction. The role entails recruitment, onboarding and training, engagement, retention, performance review as well as stakeholder collaboration for SANA’s pool of volunteers, which includes, inter alia, SANA Kakis (befrienders), Peer Leaders (persons-in-recovery) and Religious Group of Volunteers (RGV). Key Responsibilities 1. Volunteer Strategy & Planning Review existing Volunteer Management Framework periodically to ensure consistent alignment with SANA’s strategic goals. Design, oversee and review volunteer training and development needs, providing upskilling opportunities and leadership development for volunteers. Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and monitoring systems to measure volunteer engagement, impact, and program effectiveness. 2. Volunteer Recruitment, Training & Retention Identify suitable volunteer roles across SANA’s initiatives, ensuring the right match between volunteer skills and organisational needs. Develop and implement relevant training programmes to equip volunteers with essential competencies required for their roles. Foster volunteer retention and keep volunteers motivated through structured recognition frameworks and engagement initiatives, including annual retreats and appreciation events. Collaborate with other departments to conduct pro-social activities to encourage deeper engagement between volunteers and persons-in-recovery. 3. Stakeholder Engagement & Relationship Management Cultivate partnerships with government agencies, corporate entities, and educational institutions to expand volunteer engagement and development. Prepare and present comprehensive volunteer engagement reports, performance metrics, and impact assessments for SANA’s Board and Senior Management. 4.
