Must-have
Transmission protection systems up to 400 kV
Protection and Control design deliverables
Relay settings and logic file preparation
Substation protection and control systems schematics
Busbar, Feeder, Transformer, Reactor, Circuit Breaker fail, DAR protections
SCADA interface
Risk and CDM management
Nice-to-have
Experience in other Engineering fields
FACTS, HVDC protection systems
IEC61850 communication protocols
Computer-based packages for relay coordination
National Grid TP141 or CDAE or LCDAE authorization
SCADA systems detailed design
Cross-functional team collaboration
Key Requirements
Proven technical capability in power system protection design/application
Experience in protection application at transmission voltage levels up to 400 kV
Substantial experience with Construction and Design Management (CDM)
Proven ability of communicating complex technical or commercial issues
Proven ability to develop working relationships quickly and effectively
Proven experience in writing clear and concise documentation
