Skills & Requirements
Must-have
HV and EHV Substation design
National Grid specifications and DNO regulations
CDM designer regulations for HV and EHV projects
Electrical engineering deliverables
Client liaison and stakeholder management
Nice-to-have
Experience in LV and power distribution
Knowledge of HVDC Primary plant
Amtech software for LVAC selectivity study
Contributing towards divisional business plan
Building networks within the industry
Key Requirements
Degree or relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering
CDAE/LCDAE authorisation preferable
Proven experience in HV & EHV Substation design (AIS & GIS) up to 400kV
Experience in working on National Grid, SSEN, SPEN, SPR projects
Demonstrate success in delivering engineering and or projects safely to budget, time and quality
