Job Summary

  • The primary purpose of this position is to support systems and drive execution of programs to effectively maintain a safe workplace and ensure compliance with all applicable Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security regulations.
  • You will participate in cross-functional teams to continuously achieve a work environment that is safe and environmentally friendly while assisting the EHSS Manager in implementing site-specific strategies.
  • The role involves investigating work-related injuries, managing workers' compensation claims, and ensuring timely associate return to work through root cause analysis.

Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • Bachelor's degree in environmental science or engineering
  • 1-3 years EHSS experience with associate's degree
  • Knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards
  • Experience conducting internal and external audits
  • Ability to manage corrective and preventive actions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office for recordkeeping

Nice-to-have

  • OHST certification preferred
  • First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications
  • Experience with Emergency Response Teams
  • Conversational English skills
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Calm demeanor in high-energy production environments

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in environmental, natural, or equivalent science
  • Associate's degree with 1-3 years of experience
  • OHST certification with 3 years of EHSS experience
  • ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 knowledge
  • Level 2 incident management experience
