Job Summary
Maintains, troubleshoots and repairs cogeneration and auxiliary equipment including electrical interface with the Energy Center.
Must be able to dismantle a diesel Engine with limited to no instruction from Management or outside Vendors.
Assist Plant Operations personnel in performing periodic inspections of mechanical rooms/ Patient Rooms throughout Staten Island University Hospital to ensure proper operation of Temperature, Humidity, Pressure relations and medical support equipment, Ex Vacuum pumps, air compressors, etc.

Key Requirements
Minimum of one (1) year experience in maintenance and repair of HVAC high pressure equipment
Minimum of three (3) years Diesel Mechanic experience
High School Diploma or equivalent
Certificate of Fitness from NYC Fire Department - C42, A35, F60, G60, G91,G99 required with in (6) months of employment
