NXP Semiconductors is seeking a PhD candidate to develop innovative radar waveforms for automotive imaging radar sensors in Dresden, Germany. The position requires a strong background in electrical engineering and signal processing, with an emphasis on novel continuous transmission techniques
Job Summary
Develop a novel radar waveform based on continuous transmission rather than frame-based transmission to enable uninterrupted environmental sensing.
Address key challenges in radar waveform design, including devising alternate designs for micro-frames and supporting MIMO schemes.
Work alongside NXP’s Radar Development team in Dresden in cooperation with the University of Cottbus.
