Job Summary
Inspect the quality of work production or purchased parts, sheet metal parts and sub-assemblies before parts are released to the next process or production/assembly line.
Comply with standard procedures or specific work instructions to inspect raw materials to Caterpillar specifications and quality requirements.
Set up and operate measuring instruments to check equipment compensation, calibrate target values, baseline and processing parts equipment positioning devices.
