The Newcomer/Systems Navigation program is facilitated by an employee who is a newcomer to Canada with lived experience, speaks multiple languages, and has a background in community services.
Facilitation of group programs and events that help develop English as a second language and provide opportunities for people to connect with others in their community will also be part of this position.
Using Pathway of Hope principles, empower people to take the next steps toward a better and more satisfying/transformative life.

Salary
$21.95 to $23.09 per hour

Key Requirements
University Degree or Community College Diploma in Human/Social Services
Minimum 2 years prior related experience
Valid Ontario Class “G” driver’s license and personal vehicle
First Aid/CPR and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention/Safe Food Handling Certificate or willingness to obtain
Satisfactory Background Check with vulnerable sector screening
Screening through The Salvation Army Abuse Registry
