  • ASCP certification required within one year
  • work independently and as part of a team
  • strong critical thinking and troubleshooting skills
  • familiar with Epic lab information systems
  • Adheres to general hospital standards
  • Assures accurate and timely processing and staining

Nice-to-have

  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • QIHC certification is a plus
  • previous experience with Leica and Ventana staining platforms
  • improves work skills through self-study

Key Requirements

  • Associate degree in applied science or high school diploma/GED with two years training
  • Three years' experience in a clinical histology lab preferred
  • HT (ASCP) certification preferred
