Job Summary

  • Perform mechanical design, development, and documentation of components, sub-assemblies, and major end items for defense system equipment.
  • Communicate with cross-disciplined engineering team members and suppliers to analyze, model, and document the design technical data package (TDP).
  • This position is onsite in Tucson, Arizona and will support 3rd shift with a schedule of Monday – Friday 11pm -8am.

Must-have

  • Mechanical design and documentation
  • Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DFMA)
  • Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
  • CREO or similar 3D modeling software
  • PTC Windchill or equivalent PDM software
  • Support 3rd shift operations

Nice-to-have

  • Leadership experience with small teams
  • Supplier interaction and management
  • Mechanical sub-systems packaging
  • Thermal and structural analysis experience
  • Energetics principles knowledge

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in STEM and 5 years of relevant experience or Advanced Degree and 3 years' experience
  • Active DoD issued security clearance required
  • U.S. citizenship required
