Job Summary
This position is a 12-month, tenured role responsible for ensuring adherence to accreditation and assessment standards for all School programs.
The Director must provide comprehensive management for the School, including scheduling classes, planning equitable faculty workloads, and submitting mandatory university reports.
Candidates must possess exceptional problem-solving skills and demonstrate content knowledge of major accreditations such as CACREP, CAEP, and HLC.

Must-have
Terminal degree in Counseling or related field
University-level teaching experience required
Knowledge of CACREP and HLC accreditation standards
Experience with learning management systems like Blackboard
Ability to manage unit budget and financial reporting

Experience teaching across face-to-face and online modalities
Active involvement in professional organizations
Record of conference presentations and peer-reviewed publishing

Training in specialty areas complementing current faculty
Key Requirements
Terminal degree in Counseling, Health Education, Interpretation, Communication Sciences, or Sports Management
Proven experience teaching at the college/university level
Proof of legal authority to work in the United States
Residency in the greater Little Rock area required during employment
