Job Summary

  • As a Family Support Practitioner, you will provide case management, practical support, and tailored resources to help families create safe and nurturing environments.
  • In partnership with the Sexual Assault Support Service (SASS), Mission Australia also delivers the Prevention, Assessment, Support and Treatment (PAST) program for children and young people (17 and under) displaying Harmful Sexual Behaviour (HSB).

  • Degree or qualification in Community Services, Human Services, Social Work, Social Sciences, Psychology, or relevant field

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation and influencing ability
  • Proven ability to form effective partnerships
  • Capacity to manage time effectively
  • Sound computer literacy
  • National police history check
  • Clearance to work with children/vulnerable people
