Job Summary

  • The Student Support Specialist will assist Deans and faculty in the retention of undergraduate and graduate students by offering support and resources for emotional/mental health, financial stress, academic challenges, and personal difficulties.
  • Responsibilities include providing crisis counseling, case management, making appropriate referrals, coordinating with campus services, and developing early intervention programs and workshops.
  • This is a five-year externally funded position with potential for extension, requiring a Master's degree in social work and eligibility for social work licensure in Arkansas.
