Job Summary
The Student Support Specialist will assist Deans and faculty in the retention of undergraduate and graduate students by offering support and resources for emotional/mental health, financial stress, academic challenges, and personal difficulties.
Responsibilities include providing crisis counseling, case management, making appropriate referrals, coordinating with campus services, and developing early intervention programs and workshops.
This is a five-year externally funded position with potential for extension, requiring a Master's degree in social work and eligibility for social work licensure in Arkansas.
