Job Summary

  • The NC Department of Transportation's mission is to connect people, products and places safely and efficiently with customer focus, accountability, and environmental sensitivity to enhance the economy and vitality of North Carolina.
  • Work will consist of a wide range of progressively responsible maintenance tasks in preventive maintenance, repair and construction of state-maintained roads and roadside features.
  • Position will also serve as lead worker of a highway maintenance crew, operating various pieces of heavy equipment.
