Job Summary
Accessibility Advisors develop and implement organizational change strategies, initiatives, policies, processes and programs that promote an accessible, safe and welcoming learning, living and working environments at UBC.
The Centre for Accessibility provides leadership on issues of accessibility for people with disabilities on the UBC Vancouver campus and facilitates disability related accommodations for members of the UBC Vancouver campus.
Failure to meet the expectations of the job may create severe hardship for prospective and current students, faculty, staff and visitors to UBC and/or severe public relations or legal difficulties for Centre for Accessibility and the University.
