A field supervisor is a contracted certified educator employed by WTAMU that will observe teacher candidates, and monitor their performance by evaluating and providing constructive feedback to the novice teachers to improve their effectiveness as developing educators.
Field supervisors will conduct formal observations and informal observations when the candidate is completing their clinical teaching experience or internship.
Field Supervisors will be assigned clinical teachers (known as student teachers) and ACP interns (known as PACE interns); the load can be from 8-14 candidates depending on the semester.
