Job Summary

  • The primary purpose of this role is to assist in the administration of medications to residents as ordered by the attending physician, under the direction of the nurse supervisor or charge nurse.
  • Essential duties include accurately and safely preparing, administering, and documenting medications, as well as noting and reporting errors or resident reactions.
  • The position requires participation in Quality Assurance programs and cooperation with facility surveys and committee meetings affecting the medication process.
