As a Field Service Engineer [Customer Engineer] at Applied Materials, you serve as the direct liaison with customers, collaborating closely to install, maintain, and upgrade equipment.
You’ll get the opportunity and practice to work on the most advanced semiconductor equipment while learning new skills or perfecting existing ones such as advanced trouble shooting and problem solving, project management, robotics, semiconductor device manufacturing processes and more.
This position will requeir Frequent Business Travel (6-8 secutive weeks stay) every querter to Ireland, US, or another site, depending on organizational needs.

Key Requirements
B.Sc. or Practical Engineer in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
field service experience, or trade certification
Willing to learn and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics
Experience diagnosing and resolving basic technical challenges
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Possession of a valid driver’s license and the ability to obtain a passport
