Relativity Space is seeking a Quality Inspector II for its second shift in Long Beach, California, to ensure the quality of machined components for their Terran R rockets. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in mechanical inspection, proficiency with inspection tools, and strong documentation skills

Job Summary

  • Conduct thorough inspections of machined components to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and drawing requirements.
  • Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, profilometers, thread gages, pin gages and other hand tools to assess conformity to drawing requirements.
  • This is a 2nd shift position with a standard schedule of 3:00PM-1:30AM PT, Monday through Friday, with a 10% differential on top of the base rate.
