Job Summary

  • The Accounting & Compliance Specialist is responsible for the processing, analysis, interpretation, and management of financial accounting data.
  • Typical functions include reviewing and processing Workday transactions for compliance and accuracy, preparing data files using mass data upload tools, and preparing and posting accounting journals and budget amendments.
  • This position is governed by Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), state and federal laws, and institution policy.
