Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • CPT-4 coding rule development
  • HCPCS and ICD-10-CM expertise
  • Outpatient and ProFee coding experience
  • Computer Assisted Coding (CAC) analysis
  • Regression testing procedures

Nice-to-have

  • Experience writing CAC rules
  • Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management
  • Strong analytical skills with Microsoft Office
  • Effective collaboration with external customers
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 5 years Outpatient/ProFee coding OR High School Diploma AND 9 years experience
  • CPC, CCS, RHIA, or RHIT certification required
  • Must be legally authorized to work in US without sponsorship
  • Experience with coding audits and outpatient coding
