Job Summary

  • The CMS is responsible for enforcing hospital policies and initiatives in collaboration with Nursing leaders, physician leaders and administrators.
  • Provide real-time and predictive patient throughput support within OSUWMC through collaboration with the Patient Flow Management Supervisors, Case Managers, Physicians, Unit Nursing Leaders and Ancillary Departments.
  • The Capacity Management Specialist- Lead directs the department staff, medical personnel and other team members to achieve optimal patient throughput.
