Job Summary

• The WRIC News Producer produces daily newscasts, decides the order in which stories will be told, writes headlines, opens, teases and other content, times news programs, and helps coordinate coverage.
• Produces newscasts for broadcast across all platforms, writes and orders news stories, and approves scripts.
• Interacts with viewers and users on social media sites and performs other duties as assigned.
