PATH seeks a subject matter expert to strengthen Ethiopia's polio and vaccine-preventable disease surveillance systems through the STRIDES Project.
The consultant will conduct desk reviews, active case searches, and supervisory visits to ensure compliance with acute flaccid paralysis procedures.
This role requires building capacity among surveillance staff in data analysis and coordination with government partners like the Federal Ministry of Health.

Key Requirements
Master's degree in epidemiology, public health, medicine, or related field
At least 5 years of progressively relevant experience in polio surveillance
Demonstrated technical experience in AFP surveillance and outbreak investigation
Practical experience working with Ethiopia's public health system structures
