Job Summary

  • The Center for Advanced Spatial Technologies (CAST) at the University of Arkansas invites applications for up to two, two-year, 12-month Postdoctoral Fellow positions in geomatics and/or spatial data science.
  • Methodological and theoretical experience in geomatics or geospatial analysis and remote sensing are required, with research interests open but especially encouraging candidates with strengths in sensor modeling, surface reconstruction, InSAR, automated image matching, error propagation, historical imagery, LiDAR, database design, and experimental uses of 3D data.
  • The position includes a competitive salary and offers access to lab facilities, equipment, and institutional research funding, with 50% of time allocated towards self-directed research and 50% towards integrating with ongoing CAST research projects.
