  • Prepare construction drawings and site-specific specifications and contract documents and independent cost estimates.
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate construction project activities to meet milestones and deadlines working directly with stakeholders and contractors.
  • Provide technical engineering support for all phases of assigned new construction and renovation projects.

Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • Civil Engineering Degree from ABET accredited university
  • Project Engineer/Resident Engineer experience
  • Experience with tower, shelter, and similar structures
  • Knowledge of construction drawings and specifications
  • Ability to obtain Public Trust Security Clearance

Nice-to-have

  • Proficiency in AUTOCAD
  • Knowledge of Corporate Work Plan (CWP)
  • Familiarity with National Airspace System Equipment Tower (NASET)
  • Familiarity with National Airspace System Equipment Building (NASEB)

Key Requirements

  • 8-12 years relevant experience with Civil Engineering Degree
  • 6-10 years relevant experience with Masters Degree
  • Minimum 5 years Project/Resident Engineer experience
  • Knowledge of UIS facilities, environmental permitting, hazmat abatement
  • Knowledge of Project management software and/or CAD software
