  • Perform railcar inspections and repairs
  • Follow FRA and AAR safety regulations
  • Operate hand and power tools safely
  • Lift 35lbs consistently and climb railcars

Nice-to-have

  • Welding and airbrake test certifications
  • Previous railcar or mechanical experience
  • Ability to pass NDT disciplines
  • Confined space entry monitoring skills
  • DOT requirements proficiency

Key Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Must be legal to work in the US without sponsorship
  • Obtain Welding and Airbrake Test certifications within 6-12 months
  • Pass DOT requirements (preferred)
  • Demonstrate ability to operate machinery and forklifts
