nbn® Australia is seeking a Manager External Reporting to join its Finance team, focusing on statutory and sustainability reporting, as well as technical accounting. The ideal candidate will have strong external reporting experience, excellent communication skills, and a proactive mindset, with a preference for a Big Four background and CA or CPA qualifications

Job Summary

  • This role supports the preparation, delivery, and review of NBN Co’s statutory reporting, provides expert technical accounting advice across functions, and is responsible for assisting with the implementation of new accounting standards.
  • You’ll assist in preparing and reviewing external financial and shareholder reports - including the Annual Integrated Report, Half Year Report, and assist in implementing and drafting disclosures for the new Sustainability Standards effective from 1 July 2025.
  • The successful candidate will bring strong external reporting and technical accounting experience, with proven capability in annual report drafting and shaping narrative content that stands up to executive and audit scrutiny.
