Key Requirements

  • Minimum three years' experience as CDI specialist
  • Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing
  • Medical Graduate degree
  • Associate/Bachelor Degree in other clinical health profession
  • Minimum of three years hands-on clinical experience
  • 5 years inpatient acute care medical coding experience
  • Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist (CCDS)
  • Clinical Documentation Improvement Practitioner (CDIP)
