Job Summary
Performs a variety of general laundry and housekeeping/cleaning duties to provide quality laundry service and to maintain the nursing home in a sanitary manner, and free from offensive orders.
Essential duties include making clean linen available, maintaining linen in good repair, collecting and sorting laundry, washing, drying, folding, and delivering clean items to resident rooms.
The position requires the ability to read and understand directions, basic math skills, and problem-solving abilities, with occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
