Job Summary

• Receive service calls, diagnose problems, and perform service and repairs on electronic fire alarm systems and related building system products at customer sites.
• Service, troubleshoot, and install various manufacturers’ Fire & Life Safety systems, requiring interpretation of blueprints, diagrams, and technical manuals.
• This skilled position involves troubleshooting and repairing installed systems, including panel repair/reprogram, device replacement/repair, resolving low voltage circuit troubles, and system testing.

Skills & Requirements

Key Requirements

• 2 plus years' experience
• Fire alarm, programming, access control, security intrusion, sound and communications systems
• FAL License
• Ability to interpret blueprints, diagrams and specifications
• Good working knowledge of computers
• Ability to perform physical labor up to 50-70 lbs
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
• Valid driver’s license
• NICET I strongly preferred
