Job Summary

  • PATH seeks a Veterinary Infectious Disease Surveillance Advisor for the STRengthening Infectious disease DEtection Systems (STRIDES) Project to support and strengthen surveillance, detection and analytical capacity of infectious diseases across both human and animal health.
  • The advisor will support the implementation of surveillance activities, including animal health and zoonotic disease surveillance in coordination with the Ministry of Agriculture and other GHS partners, focusing on zoonotic pathogens and infectious disease surveillance of animal populations in Indonesia.
  • Responsibilities include leading the development, coordination, and implementation of surveillance activities, working with Government of Indonesia counterparts, strengthening national and subnational capacity, and coordinating with diverse organizations.

Key Requirements

  • Master’s degree or its International Equivalent in epidemiology, public health, veterinary medicine or related field

  • Experience working with iSIKHNAS, EWARS, and SIZE surveillance systems
  • Strong experience in Indonesia
  • English proficiency required
  • Willing to travel within Indonesia up to 25%
