Job Summary
Serve as the primary strategic and legal advisor to senior leaders on a wide range of complex corporate transactions, including transaction design, negotiation, drafting documents and implementation.
Apply understanding of health system and/or health plan operations to deliver actionable, practical, business-focused legal advice when advising on transaction structure, regulatory considerations, risk allocation, and alignment with organizational strategy.
Establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with, and as needed provide mentorship, direction, and guidance to, fellow attorneys, legal specialists, and other team members in the Corewell Health and Priority Health legal departments.

Key Requirements
Doctorate from an ABA accredited law school
7 years of relevant experience
M&A, corporate healthcare transactions experience
Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale transactions
Combination of private practice and in house experience
5 years of relevant knowledge of healthcare laws
5 years of relevant experience leading legal professionals
3 years of relevant experience in healthcare industry
