The primary purpose of this position is to ensure adequate and appropriate staffing of the facility nursing department to meet the needs of residents based on budget and census.
The role requires coordinating requests to complete monthly nursing schedules while ensuring appropriate coverage of units and addressing variances with the Director of Nursing Services.
Employees must maintain confidentiality of resident protected health information and report any suspected unauthorized access or violations immediately.
