• As the Assistant Manager – Packaging Engineering, you will play a key role in developing and implementing innovative packaging solutions that balance product protection, cost-efficiency, and sustainability.
• You will support the design, validation, and implementation of scalable packaging systems for global automotive programs and lead cross-functional packaging initiatives across engineering, logistics, manufacturing, and suppliers.
• The role supports continuous improvement initiatives and aligns packaging strategies with broader business goals to enhance operational efficiency and product success.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Information Systems Engineering, Computer, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering and 5 years of professional experience
• 7–10 years of hands-on experience in packaging design and implementation
• 2–3 years of experience in automotive logistics operations or in a supervisory/team lead role
• Proficiency in PackAssistant or equivalent packaging simulation software
• Strong understanding of returnable/expendable packaging systems, materials, and testing standards (ASTM, ISTA)
• Familiarity with 3D modeling CAD tools (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks) and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, global environment
