Job Summary
The Pfizer Payroll Associate is responsible for the timely and accurate execution of all payroll activities including processing, validation, and balancing.
This role requires working with HR, Legal, and Finance teams to process complex changes such as sales bonuses, leave of absence, and severance.
The position ensures Sarbanes-Oxley and external audit compliance while responding to Tier 3 colleague inquiries referred by the HR Service Center.

Must-have
Hands-on experience with U.S. payroll
Advanced communication skills in English
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to maintain privacy and confidentiality
Experience in payroll accounting or human resources
Nice-to-have
Experience with Canada payroll processing
Experience with Kronos Workday ADP systems
Certified Payroll Professional designation
Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance Accounting HR or related field
Associate degree with 4 years relevant experience
High school diploma with 6 years relevant experience
Must be able to work in Pfizer Costa Rica office hybrid
