The Operations Shift Supervisor is responsible for safety, quality, and cost effectiveness of maintenance and manufacturing operations and serves as Incident Commander during plant incidents.
This position reports to the Maintenance Manager and involves working primarily in a manufacturing environment on a night shift schedule with exposure to chemicals requiring special handling.

Skills & Requirements
Must-have
Safety compliance with cGMP and OSHA
Supervision of maintenance and production staff
Incident command and emergency response
Scheduling operator and mechanic assignments
Troubleshooting and maintenance coordination
Enforcement of plant work rules and policies
Nice-to-have
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Leadership and managerial courage
Knowledge of regulatory requirements EPA, FDA
Motivating others and teamwork culture
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field preferred
Minimum five years manufacturing experience
Minimum two years supervisory experience
First Responder qualified or ability to become qualified
Incident Commander certified or ability to become certified
