Job Summary
The Lead Physical Design Engineer role combines deep hands-on implementation expertise with technical leadership, owning complex block- and/or top-level physical design for advanced-node SoCs.
Key responsibilities include driving timing closure, congestion resolution, IR/EM, signal integrity, and physical verification, while developing and enhancing physical design methodologies and automation.
This role involves providing technical direction to a small group of engineers, mentoring junior engineers, and collaborating closely with RTL design, STA, DFT, CAD, and packaging teams.
