Discovery Cove Orlando is seeking a Dive Safety Officer who will ensure safe dive operations and compliance with OSHA requirements. The role involves training, equipment maintenance, and providing excellent customer service while promoting a positive work environment

Job Summary

  • Ensures safe dive operations and compliance with all OSHA requirements, runs training classes and certification courses, and adheres to all established safety procedures and environmental regulations throughout the park.
  • Assists with diver testing, correct dive techniques, Orca and Pilot Whale EABD swim testing and training, and consults with department dive teams on unique dive operations and water rescue scenarios.

Key Requirements

  • Current open water SCUBA instructor
  • Minimum 2 years diving experience
  • 1 year experience as diving instructor

  • Able to lift or move up to 50 lbs
