Job Summary

  • The Systems Designer will support engineering teams by creating and modifying detailed 2D and 3D designs using computer-aided design tools.
  • This role is responsible for developing components, assemblies, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) that meet Oshkosh standards, while contributing to ongoing product development, configuration updates, and engineering changes across multiple product lines.
  • This position offers exposure to a wide range of equipment and systems, supporting both new development and production-driven design work.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with two (2) years of experience in design
  • Experience designing sheet metal components and small weldments
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with six (6) years of experience in design
  • Experience using Siemens NX or similar high-end 3D CAD software
  • Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems
  • Experience with ERP systems and engineering data management processes
  • Experience creating and interpreting detailed engineering drawings with full GD&T application
