Job Summary

  • Responsible for performing the installation and maintenance of all electronic and specialty equipment installed in city vehicles and the City of Garland radio communication infrastructure.
  • Conduct the installation and/or removal of mobile public safety equipment, including radios, lights, sirens, GPS systems, cameras, and other mobile communication devices in emergency vehicles and public works equipment.
  • Provide technical support and training to city personnel on the operation and maintenance of installed equipment.
