Job Summary

  • It is the responsibility of the cook to manage and operate the kitchen in the absence of the Dietary Supervisor.
  • The cook must maintain the kitchen and cooking area in a safe, orderly, clean and sanitary manner while preparing tasteful meals and special diets accurately.
  • The position requires cooperation with personnel across departments and participation in orientation and ongoing training of dietary staff.
