The Regional Infectious Disease Surveillance Advisor will oversee and provide technical leadership for day-to-day implementation of surveillance activities in AMEE, including epidemiological and laboratory surveillance for zoonotic, epidemic-, and pandemic-prone diseases.
Responsibilities include providing expert input to national guidelines and normative policies, advising governments and partners on best practices in surveillance, and ensuring timely production and dissemination of high-quality data and information.

Key Requirements
Master’s degree or its International Equivalent in epidemiology, public health, veterinary medicine or related field

Demonstrated expertise in zoonotic diseases, surveillance systems, and outbreak investigation and control across AMEE
