Job Summary
The Firefighter / Driver-Operator is responsible for responding to and mitigating fire, medical, rescue, and hazardous materials emergencies.
This position includes driving and operating fire apparatus, performing fire suppression, rescue, and emergency medical tasks, and participating in fire prevention and public education activities.
The role ensures the readiness of all assigned apparatus, equipment, and personnel while adhering to NFPA, DoD, and organizational standards.

Key Requirements
Pass Candidate Physical Agility Test (CPAT) annually
Hold and maintain NAVFAC P-300, OPNAVINST 5100.12 licensing
Certified in EVOC and AVOC
Obtain government driver’s license
Demonstrated firefighter knowledge and skills
Ability to operate under high-stress conditions
Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills
Computer literacy with Microsoft Office Suite
Pass annual Occupational Health Exam and SCBA Fit Testing
Pass overseas medical screening
CAC-eligible and able to obtain CAC
3 years experience as Firefighter on DoD installation
DoD/IFSAC/Pro Board certifications (Firefighter I & II, Airport Firefighter, Driver/Operator – ARFF, Pumper, HAZMAT Awareness & Operations)
