Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • Valid RN license issued by Arkansas
  • 12 months acute care hospital experience
  • 6 months direct patient care in last 12 months
  • Ability to pass pre-screening testing with 80% score
  • Work one major holiday and every other weekend

Nice-to-have

  • Strong communication skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Excellent work ethics and accountability
  • Chemotherapy certification for Oncology units
  • Experience in Intensive Care or Surgical Trauma

Key Requirements

  • Graduate of accredited Nursing Program (ADN, Diploma, BSN, or MSN)
  • Minimum 12 months RN experience in acute care hospital
  • Proof of legal authority to work in the United States
  • Must not be currently employed by UAMS
  • Previous UAMS employees must have terminated more than 180 days prior
