Job Summary
The Heater’s primary responsibilities include accurately identifying and charging slabs in the correct location, as well as heating steel slabs in accordance with established company practices and procedures.
Incumbents will be expected to heat slabs to predetermined temperature parameters to ensure the final product meets Oregon Steel Mills quality standards and customer requirements.

Key Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
Qualified crane operation experience preferred
Ability to work in an environment with fluctuations in heat and humidity and exposure to fumes, odors, dust and noise
