Job Summary

  • The Vehicle & Manufacturing Architect (VMA) serves as the single voice of vehicle architecture, uniting Engineering Functions, Manufacturing, and Studio with a shared vision.
  • This role is the driving force behind Architecture, Vehicle and Surface Integration, steering the development journey from Pre Program Framing Initiation (PFI) through Pre-Production builds with passion and expertise.
  • Upon successful completion of a motor vehicle report review, you will be eligible to participate in a company vehicle evaluation program, through which you will be assigned a General Motors vehicle to drive and evaluate.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering
  • 8 years of experience in a related field
  • 5 years in Vehicle Integration of SMT
  • Proficiency in CAD systems (NX preferred)
  • VIS Mockup capability
  • Global Vehicle Development Process knowledge
  • Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle
