Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • Perform peripheral IV insertion and discontinuation
  • Conduct Point of Care Testing (POCT)
  • Scan documents into PACS system

  • Maintain sterile procedure protocols

  • Prior experience as EMT or nursing assistant

Key Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • BLS Certification required
  • Completion of Banner's peripheral IV insertion course
  • Completion of Banner's POCT education and validation
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology
